March 21st is the first day of spring, and the beginning of the astrological year and solar year.

It is seen as a significant day in the Islamic world as well even though Islam follows a lunar year.

The March lunar eclipse

Et tu, luna! A total penumbral lunar eclipse awaits on the eve of the Ides of March.

In this rare kind of eclipse, the Earth stands exactly between the sun and the moon as the moon crosses through Earth's outer perimeter shadow, or penumbra. This is not a total lunar eclipse, which occurs when the moon runs through the shadow core and turns a rusty brown. In a penumbral eclipse, the color change is more subtle.




Using the late astronomer Andre Danjon's definition of a total penumbral lunar eclipse, only five such eclipses will occur in this century, according to Fred Espenak, an eclipse expert at NASA. The next one comes on Aug. 29, 2053.

So enjoy it. And don't be afraid to look. Lunar eclipses are safe to view. The eclipse starts at 4:21 p.m. Eastern time, about 50 minutes before sunset, on March 14. When the sun sets at 5:14 p.m., you should see the full moon rising in the east. The middle of the eclipse is 6:47 p.m., and it ends by 9:13 p.m., according to Espenak.

Lunar eclipses, like solar eclipses, belong to a centuries-long series. This eclipse comes from a series called Saros 113, which started in April 888 and ends in June 2150, and is No. 63 of 71 in the series. The next lunar eclipse in Saros 113 will be on March 25, 2024.

Also this month, on March 29, there will be a total solar eclipse visible in Africa and Asia. The path of totality crosses through Africa and Asia, with people in Europe able to see only a partial solar eclipse, Espenak says.

Sky Signs of Spring

When evening arrives, find Mars high in the southern sky, while Saturn hangs high in the east. Mars is in the constellation Taurus and the ringed Saturn in the constellation Cancer. Mars becomes a first magnitude object, which means it has dimmed, and Saturn remains at zero magnitude, making it bright enough to be seen from Washington.

Right now Jupiter (negative second magnitude, bright) rises just before midnight; by the end of the month, it will rise in the east at about 9:30 p.m.

Venus, bright as ever at negative fourth magnitude, arrives about two hours before sunrise. At about 4:30 a.m., look for it in the east. By sunrise, you'll find the effervescent Venus shining bright in the southeast.

And the astronomical start of spring occurs at 1:26 p.m. Eastern time, March 20: the Vernal equinox, when the sun crosses the equator from the southern hemisphere into the northern hemisphere.

Eclipses


Eclipses are another important factor to consider when working with the Moon. Eclipses occur twice a year, when the New and Full Moons occur within 18 degrees 31 minutes of the Moon’s Nodes in the chart.

Eclipses always come in groups of at least two (one Solar at the New Moon and one Lunar at the Full Moon), and occasionally, they come in groups of three (Solar, Lunar, Solar or Lunar, Solar, Lunar).

The most important thing to recognize about eclipses is that they represent an interruption in the normal lunar cycles. Under normal circumstances, the Full Moon represents a release of all of the energies that the Moon has collected during the previous lunar cycle.

During an eclipse cycle, however, and particularly during a Lunar Eclipse, the Earth’s shadow comes between the Sun and the Moon, interrupting and interfering with the release of the energies.

What happens during a Lunar Eclipse is that everything proceeds exactly as we would expect it to, and then at the last moment, something entirely unforeseen and unexpected occurs which interferes with the expected outcome of the events.

A Solar Eclipse occurs during a New Moon, and this time the Moon’s shadow gets in the way, representing unexpected and hidden (and, as we’re dealing with the Moon, here, unconscious and emotional) energies that are going to play very important parts in the events of the following lunar cycle. Again, we’re dealing with unknown and unpredictable factors in the equation.


Eclipse cycles can last for up to six weeks. Be aware that one may be confronted with unexpected obstacles and hidden motivations.

March 18th STAR GATE Opening in Columbia: THE DOVE


A stargate is an opening in the heavens that brings through to the Earth plane a higher frequency of certain energies when humanity is ready to receive them to assist in the raising of consciousness.

It can be through one Star, a constellation of Stars, a planet or an even bigger doorway between different Star Systems and even planets.

When a Stargate is opened it is when humanity is ready to move through the doorway into a higher frequency of their divinity. Stargates are opened when their particular energies are relevant for another shift in consciousness.

When we come into the earth plane through birth or walk in we also come through a Stargate that holds the particular frequencies we work with.

You may want to tune into the Stargate / constellation you came through as it will be an expression of the gift you are, and the loving service you share.

The constellation of Columba, the Dove represents the Dove that followed Noah's Ark, it is a small constellation with the brightest star Columbae in the sky near Sirius and Canopus.

The stargate opening in Columba is about our trust in our inner self and connection to God. It means that enough of humanity is ready to be guided by their inner self and trust the inner knowing that comes from the Source within each of us.

The Dove sighted the new land, the new start, just as we are now co-creating the New Earth, through our hearts, love and peace. This stargate heralds the opening of our heart to the New energies and the Creator.


Wherever you are on this time either simply through your intention and awareness, prayer and boosting, be aware of your own focus as the co-creator you are; as to what you are creating through your heart, how you choose to live in the higher vibrational Earth, and how you see all beings on Earth.

Be aware that it is through your heart that all is created, as the stargate in the heavens through Columba opens through you and the Earth, all One.

New Moon In Aries and A Total Solar Eclipse

Eclipses are deeply connected to the evolution of consciousness. As astronomical events their appearance has always been an essential time for initiates and for awakened humanities work with the Celestial Beings and God.

Eclipses landmark and initiate transformation into the Higher Light Octaves and reunite light and dark, while creating a shadow - a cone of power- that can heal as well as destroy.

This Total Solar Eclipse, the Sun and Earth are opposite with the Moon in between will be sighted in Africa, Europe, west Asia and the total eclipse will be seen in central Africa, Turkey and Russia.

The New Moon is always the time to go within, to the inner planes and parts of us that are hidden. It is also the seed of the new beginning and when the Sun and the Moon are One.

Together with the Solar Eclipse this Full Moon is a great opportunity to open up to the New Earth. The angelic beings through the Suns are illuminating higher frequencies to the Earth Plane for the fuller anchoring of a New Earth.

A Solar Eclipse of the Sun only occurs when the Moon is new, and when it is between the Earth and the Moon.

This occurs because of the variations in the Moons orbit and its shadow is sometimes longer and its distance from the Earth shorter, this is when we have an eclipse.

These are important openings or doorways as the Sun, Moon and Earth are aligned. The Golden Solar infuences use these times to infuse heightened Solar vibrations to the Earth. Afterall a Total Solar Eclipse is when the Moon is at its closest position to the Earth.


A Solar Eclipse affects the inner transformation as well as the outer manifestation, channelled either for destruction or creation, the choice is ours.
