How to Improve the Beauty of Your Skin

Many teenagers and adults have a difficult time getting rid of acne, blemishes, and other skin rashes or irritations in a reasonable time. Because these blemishes have an impact on your appearance and confidence, you are constantly looking for ways to get rid of them so that you can get back to feeling normal.

Acne, as with other skin disorders, is sometimes difficult to eliminate or even control. The reason for this is there can be many body conditions that contribute to them. For some people, there may be only one condition that produces their skin problem and they find it easy to eliminate it.

With others, they try every remedy, cream, or drug that is available and they still cannot eliminate it.

Why You Have Acne, Boils, Eczema, Rashes, Skin Disorders

In its basic form, skin disorders represent body toxins, from the colon that your body is trying to eliminate but is unable through its normal channels of elimination. They represent a lack of the proper skin nutrients to make the skin healthy.

Toxins, which come from the air you breathe, the water you drink, the substances you drink, the food you eat, and the thoughts you think, come into the colon for disposal. If your colon is not working like it should, you can have constipation, diverticulitis, bowel polyps, bowel inflammation, bowel ballooning, or bowel constrictions, excess bad bacteria, bowel infections or bowel parasite or pathogens.

These bowel conditions come about from the abuse you give your colon. By eating junk food, by eating certain foods at the wrong time, by combining food improperly, by using drugs of all kinds, and by leading a stressful life, you destroy the integrity and balance of your colon.

When this happen, your colon becomes toxic and is no longer a healthy elimination channel. It becomes a source to toxic matter that is spread into your blood and throughout your body.

Elimination Channels

Over time when one of the five elimination channels becomes weak and under active, the other 4 channels:

The liver
The kidney
The lymph system
The lungs
The skin

need to take up the slack. As more time passes these other channels become over worked and loose their ability to properly eliminate toxins.

When the colon is releasing toxins into the blood, they travel to the liver for detoxification, elimination, and storage. When the liver is overwhelmed with toxins, the toxins move into the kidney for elimination or to the other channels of elimination.

When the liver and kidney lose strength, toxins are moved out through the skin and lungs. As toxins find their way into the follicles in your face by way of the blood and lymph liquid, they form a source of waste that attracts bacteria and infection.

If you are short on omega-3’s infection fighting power, this infection can turn into blemishes of all kinds.

If you don’t keep your face clean, pores will close up and you form a blemish or a pimple and acne is formed.

There are many more details to the formation of acne and other blemishes but this gives you an idea about how excessive toxins in the blood can lead to the formation of poor facial skin.

For Acne

This is one possible cause of acne and there are other causes. If you have an excess of androgen hormones, these hormones can accumulate in your face pores and cause acne, if your liver is unable to break them down and eliminate them. You can see if the liver is busy detoxifying toxins from a toxic colon, when does it have the strength and time to breakdown these hormones that contribute to acne.

Acne and other skin disorders really come down to a malfunction of your internal organs of elimination unable to function properly from a long time of unhealthy lifestyle. This malfunction prevents the proper detoxification of body toxins. These toxins need a way to escape your body so they find their way out through your skin, another channel of elimination.

So if your skin disorder is a result of internal weakness of the liver or kidney here is a remedy that you can try to see if your kidney is a source of weakness. If not then it would be a good idea to work on the liver.

A Skin Disorder Remedy When Your Kidney is Weak

First, you will have acne and other skin disorders if your kidney is unable to detoxify toxins. These toxins will move into your skin and cause pimples and other skin blemishes, if you do not properly keep your face skin clean and working properly.

So the first thing you need to do is keep your face clean. Here’s how to do it.

1. Buy some Apple Cider Vinegar
2. Buy a complexion brush or some large soft cotton balls or soft sponge
3. Jojoba oil with 10% or so of tree tea oil, or one bottle of each oil and mix them

Mixing the Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix apple cider vinegar with warm distilled water. Heat the distilled water to warm using only a glass or ceramic pot.

To start with, use 10 parts water to 1- 3 parts apple cider vinegar. If your skin is not real sensitive you can use a stronger mixture, all the way to a 50:50 mixture. That is, mix ½ apple cider vinegar to ½ distilled warm water.

Cleaning Your Face

First wash your face with room temperature water but do not use soap. You don’t need to dry your face after washing.

Now, pour a little apple cider vinegar mixture onto your fingers and massage it onto your face for a few minutes.

Now, dip the complexion brush or cotton pads into the apple cider vinegar mixture and softly scrub your face to remove dirt and dead skin. The cotton pad will absorb a lot of liquid, so you want to carefully not to drip all over your face and counter. You may want to experiment with a facial sponge or another type of material.

When scrubbing your face with this mixture be careful not to get it into your eyes. If you need to scrub your forehead, lean your head down and do not soak the cotton balls since the mixture will drip all over your face. Just go slow until you see how to us this mixture.

The apple cider vinegar will leave your skin acidic and this is the normal pH balance for your skin. An acid skin will prevent bacteria and other pathogens from getting past your skin barrier. An alkaline skin will breed bacteria.

Do this skin cleansing, with the apple cider vinegar, three times a day or if just once, do it just before bedtime.

After scrubbing your skin, rinse your face once with warm water, then pat your face dry. Then, use Jojoba oil mixed with tree tea oil.

After you use the 50:50 mixture, your face will dry in about 2-5 minutes. Your skin will feel a little tight and a little stingy. Now put about ½ dropper of the prepared jojoba and tree tea oil onto your hands and rub it all over my face.

Or you can go to your health store and buy a bottle of jojoba oil and a bottle of tree tea oil.

There you have, the facial morning or nightly facial cleanse.

Kidney cleanse

Now, here is the next thing you need to do. You need to cleanse your kidney and perhaps your liver. But for now I will give you the information on the kidney. If you have a good functioning kidney, it will remove toxic material out of your blood and move it out your urine.

If your kidneys are weak, it can’t remove all of the toxic material out of your blood so it stays in the blood and gets routed to your skin to be excreted.

Final Comments

Some acne or certain skin conditions are really difficult to eliminate. Skin conditions are normally a result of weak internal elimination organs. This causes these organs to route toxins to the skin for elimination.

If you have acne or other skin condition, it is a reflection of the lifestyle and food that you have been eating all of your life. Yes there are other people who have the same lifestyle and eating habits that you have and they don’t get acne. Their liver and kidney and elimination organs are still working for them.

People, who have a poor lifestyle and don’t have acne, have some other health issues that are either external or internal. At some point in their life these issue can become serious.

Toxins that have to be eliminated from the body and are not eliminated through the normal elimination channels will go to the weakest part of the body for elimination or storage. This part of the body is different for each person. Some people have a weakness in the skin, some in their heart, and some in their liver and so on.

Finally,

Try using the face cleanse procedure with apple cider vinegar and oils. Use the kidney cleanse and you will see your skin condition improve.

Acne Vulgaris

*Inflammatory skin condition with superficial skin erruptions.

*Complex interaction of hormones, hygeine, sebum, and bacteria.

*Influence of Hormonal Changes (ie. high testosterone)

>Cells lining the pore produce too much Keratin (hard protein)

>Sebaceus glands make more Sebum (skin oil)

>Pore gets blocked

>Aerobic bacteria (P. Acnes) in pores produces pro-
inflammatory enzymes to clear the block

>Results in pimple (white head=digested remenants / black
head=oxydized)

MODIFYING FACTORS

Zinc Deficiency: Promotes conversion of testosterone (T) to 5-DHT (Dihydrotestosterone)

*5-DHT is more potent: Increases sebum and karatin production

*Zinc lowest in 13-15 year old males

Anabolic Steroids : 375,000 males & 175,000 females
(8th - 10th grade!)

(Yesalis C.E. Arch. Pediatric Adolescence Med. Dec. 1997)

Herbal Muscle Builders : (ie. Tribulus Terrastris)

*Cause Increase on Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in Pituitary ("growth hormone")

* LH increases T output in males

*Average teens (males ) have no need for extra T (females who stop mensturation ie. Amenorrhea = increase testosterone)

B6 Deficiency:

*Inhibits Zinc absorption

*Also have more 5-DHT production

*Oral contraceptives cause decrease in B6 levels

Sugar/High Glycemic Foods:

*Leads to Insulin resistance in skin cells

>more sebum production
>form of "skin diabetes"

CONVENTIONAL TREATMENTS

1. Benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, or Retin-A.
*Topical medications that dry up the oil &/or promote peeling

2. Oral (eg. tetracycline) or topical antibiotics (eg. Clindamycin)
*meant to control bacteria infection
*may lead to Candidiasis
>worsening acne

*Safer alternative: Tea Tree Oil (5-15% Solution)

3. High dose Vit. A (synthetic: Accutane)
*decreases sebum output
*not safe in pregnancy and sexually active adolescent girls/women
>risk of birth defects
(Too high a dose=increase cell growth out of control)

NUTRITIONAL TREATMENTS
(For teens)

1. Vit. A (5000 IUs max)
*pre-formed Vit. A (retinol/not B--Carotene) slightly decreases sebum

2. Vit. E (400 IUs) + Selenium (200 mcg/microgram!)
*synergistic with Vit. A
*decreases inflammation from P. Acnes

3. Zinc (5 mg. 3x/day) + B6 (25 mg. 3x/day)

4. Chromium (200-400 mcg)
*Restores insulin sensitivity
*helps control sugar/high glycemic cravings

5. Attempt to limit Trans-Fatty Acids, Milk, Fried Foods, Iodized salts
*Alters consistancy of sebum
>makes more = blocks pores.
