I'm Christian, born again, and this looming divorce is ***NOT***
what I want. But my husband refuses to talk to me, is out of the house six days out of seven, and is not emotionally available....ANY INSIGHT anyone else has would be greatly appreciated...if I accede to this divorce, then I am a failure as a Christian. I cannot let this happen, as he is not Christian!!!

Dear Brooke,
It can be really hard on you right now, my prayers and boost are with you.
However "everything happens for a reason", out of this challenge, good things might happen for you and husband.
I suggest a very simple technique: just add awareness to your breathing when things start to get "emotionally heavy" for you.. it works amazingly well cause it is so simple. watching your breath takes you to the present moment where there is no fear, no anxiety, no panic, no set in the stone rules.

Just to keep everyone in the loop; Ray, my husband, left@0747 this am,
09-09-09. Found a notation in his notebook saying that he has been granted a divorce hearing, 24/11/09, 0900-1100, and 17/1730.

I'm being as brave as I can, the breathing trick helps. I cannot reach him; all phones are turned off, he's taken the computer(the PC), but left the wireless connection intact, thankfully.

I have some tentative plans to "Step up to the plate" for him...just hope
that this yields something for his health and happiness. Believe me, boosting today will help not just us, but everybody...Blessings to all, and love(am off to get some non-ferrous metal shavings)...Brooke

Hello, all;

Been a quiet few days...the weather's sunny, very warm, and
I'm feeling more +-ve!Thanks hugs, and general sincere humility to those who have boosted and prayed for me/us.


Heard from a dear friend today; she called to tell me this: "Tell him, "Stay.""

So, I wrote a letter to my husband, and asked forgiveness...and told him that I'd trust God to sort out the rest, then wrote a song lyric, to please stay.
As I was doing this, I sensed a tiny shift...sort of like a note going from flat to natural. And His Presence, saying,"Done".

My prayers go on, but my faith has a new partner...Hope. Without the love and unstinting support of those here, Hope would have just been an empty concept. God blessed me...FRI-ENDs....the hard work is just beginning....but I look forward to it. Thank you all again....love, Brooke

PS thank you all of you, for reminding me not to be so blind to the good in this world...what a great lesson, to keep focused on the journey.
