My first awakening to the universe occurred when I was 7 years old (I fell asleep in a playground on a sunny afternoon)- an angel came to me with beautiful tears falling from her face landing on mine like crystal sunshine, shattering and filling me with joy. She lifted me to the clouds, comforting me in my sadness and revealing that she was with me and always would be. As she carried me back down to the earth I cried asking why she was leaving me, I wanted to stay with her always and never return... she said she was always there even when I couldn't see her - watching me, and it was not my path to leave at this time..... This was confirmed again when I was 21- In deep meditation - I floated in the clouds of the sky, I looked down and saw a sleeping child in a playground and knew right away what I was supposed to do.

Looking back at this now, I realized that before I meditate I always search for my inner child to make contact with that part of me before I listen for messages from the universe. Knowing that children have a closer or clearer link to the universe than adults do, I am certain this has an impact upon my ability to hear.

Kristi welcome to our women warriors forum. I am glad you joined our spiritual community and looking forward to our powerful boosting sessions to empower ourselves, others and do some good work together. Glad you brought the inner child subject. It is something I resonate with, like you I go deeper into my inner child when I feel I need greater contact with The Universe. In many healing sessions people I helped had issues from childhood, so after I took them back to childhood and resolved the issued the results were amazing.
One time in a meditation I experienced my birth in detail, it was very disturbing, as I was not ready to come out into this world, I felt much safer inside. It took me few hours to come out of that distress state but felt much powerful after that experience.

Yes.. I agree.

I have found that playing with my children helps me also. I can identify with them in the place they are at only by accessing those feelings within myself. From there we have great adventures together, my children and myself as my inner child.

Putting away the ideas of adulthood and being free to feel as they do with out the burdens I place on myself and remembering the burdens I placed on myself as a child. Fears and Dreams and Wishes and even authentic joy at small discoveries that seemed so large to me at the time. I let small be big again.
