The Harmonic Concordance: November 8/9, 2003
The Harmonic Concordance, 2003, follows its predecessor, The Harmonic Convergence of 1987. It takes place this year at the moment of the total lunar eclipse of November 8/9*. This is at 1:29 a.m. Sunday, November 9 GMT (5:29 p.m. Saturday, November 8 PDT).

This marks an important moment of rare cosmic attunement. The total lunar eclipse is part of what is known in astrology as a Grand Sextile pattern—a wonderful, harmonious flow of energy between six planets in our solar system. Within this pattern is yet another powerful pattern known as The Star of David, an important mystic symbol, which is created by two inverted Grand Trines.

There are yet more significant astrological patterns within this pattern, and some astrologers believe this is the most significant alignment in the 6,000 year span between 3,000 BC and 3,000 CE. Certainly, it is rare in its beauty and wonder. Unlike its predecessor, the Harmonic Convergence—due to the world-wide nature of a lunar eclipse—the powerful, once in a many millennium moment of the Harmonic Concordance will occur at the same instant, in all time zones, around the globe.

This is one powerful moment in time—but its effects can last for centuries to come.


Astrologer John Mirehiel first brought the astrological portrait of this moment to the public eye, in 1998. He found the horoscope chart for the full moon eclipse very compelling, and many other astrologers have since studied it. The general consensus is that (at the very least) this moment is likely to bestow grace and blessings upon those who spend this time and use the high energies it produces with their hearts and minds focused spiritually.


There have been numerous speculations about what might happen during this time. Some are rather extreme, to say the least. Some expect to see the first wave of Ascension take place.

Others are waiting for spaceships to take us away. Still others wonder if the astrological chart is foretelling a type of universal rapture. My take is that it is not so much about the outward events, but an opportunity for those who are ready, to make this time as spiritually powerful as possible. In other words, be "spiritually proactive"; don't wait for things to happen.


Powerful planetary events can and often do coincide with events in the world around us, and these can indeed be regarded as "signposts" from the Cosmos. Astrology is a language of the Divine, and it uses such events to "talk" to us. However, first we have to raise our vibrations through spiritual work and practices, in order to attune ourselves to what is being said. Once we learn to do this, then indeed we can expect sublime events, otherwise known as "miracles" to take place.



To summarize: this is a wonderful, positive time for all those of us who wish to make our world a better place. We can tune into and use the high planetary energies of this time through prayer, meditation, and service to others. It is a great idea to visit the sacred areas of our world to attune yourself to Nature and give appreciation for the Mother Earth. In this way we are cooperating with the beauty and majesty of the cosmos, and so helping to raise the collective consciousness of mankind.

Concordance

In several recent columns you may have read about the Harmonic Concordance, a total lunar eclipse which happens the night of Nov. 8. To sum up: the eclipse is an exact alignment of the Sun and Moon at the Taurus Full Moon, which is part of a Star of David pattern, a six-pointed aspect technically called a grand sextile.

Another way of saying this is that we'll experience two grand trines at the time of a lunar eclipse, one in the watery signs and another in the earthy signs.



What does this portend? Using astrology is one method of reading the future, but it's also a tool for envisioning or engineering the future. This envisioning process is especially important where eclipses are concerned, because they have such overwhelming power to change everything. Eclipse season comes twice a year, approximately every five-and-a-half months.

They advance backwards through the horoscope. One year eclipses will fall in Gemini, and the next, they will appear in the prior sign, Taurus, as is the case here. Eclipses usually come in pairs; the corresponding solar eclipse to the Harmonic Concordance lunar eclipse will occur Nov. 23, with the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius.



In eclipse seasons there is an acceleration of energy and compression of events. This happens on top of what already feels like an out-of-control rate of change that we live with in our fast-paced culture where so little actually happens.

Eclipses help us observe and restructure the patterns of our lives. Since most people don't track astrology, eclipses occur unconsciously while the events they represent just seem to happen to them. Astrology gives us a plotting tool to measure time, to read its quality and to design changes and creative expressions that are appropriate to the moment.

It is a system of metaphors, but it's more than that, since the planets are actually there and the events between the planets actually happen to us, around us and apparently within us.



Being conscious of and creative with astrology helps us intervene in our own lives in a positive way.


Moon, eclipsed in Taurus.

One way to look at this is to say that a shadow is being cast over the customary role of women, which is supporting and taking care of the home, the children and the village, while men do most of the fighting and moneymaking. Women, more and more, are being pushed into the roles and emotional postures of men, and are defining that as "success." We definitely need a better definition of both woman and success.

A lunar eclipse in Taurus also points to a crisis of accepting nourishment, the possibility of food shortages and a resources crisis. It is a wake-up call to reach for our real values, and to live them like it matters. We can wait until we absolutely have to do this, or we can get in the groove now.

In other words, we don't need to wait for a crisis to seek out and find community, meet our neighbors and get with people who are willing to share resources mutually in order to improve the lives of everyone.

Last, an eclipsed Moon in Taurus is a significant comment on the issue of self-respect, which is the real definition of self-esteem.



Jupiter in Virgo.

This is about applying critical thinking to religious and academic dogma, a rare enough occurrence in the world. The extent to which so-called religion has taken over so-called reality is a frightening thought right now, whether we are speaking of the cult of consumer marketing or the End of Days crowd that currently occupies high office.

Typically we accept what we're told by ministerial and professorial authority without asking any questions, and without even realizing we're doing it. Why are Jews, Africans, Muslims, women, children and the elderly still second-class citizens? Why do Catholics drink blood? Why is God nailed to a stick? Why do so many people who preach peace and love also froth at the mouth with excitement when speaking of bombing people? Why do so many people think Armageddon is approaching, why are they so excited about it? Virgo is about reasoning power, discernment and intelligence. Jupiter in this sign says question reality. It says we need spiritual values that address the practical concerns of real people. What we have today are religious values that encourage deception, greed and abuse. Let's get some new ones.


Chiron in Capricorn.

This is an image of the raising of awareness of political and social justice issues. Since Chiron has been in Capricorn (starting in December 2001), we've witnessed a long series of exposés about everything from sex abuse in churches to Enron, Worldcom and many other corporate scandals. There is a scandal a day coming out of the White House.

But it's water under the bridge. This has gone on so long, with so little in the way of results or measurable effects, that we may think there's no use paying attention.

Chiron in Capricorn is compelling us to hold awareness of these issues, to bring the darkness to the light, and to own up to our part in the game. While awareness may seem to hurt, withdrawing it will ultimately hurt a lot more. Part of what we need to remain aware of is how serious our political problems are, and use that awareness to define these problems in ways that can be solved.


Sun in Scorpio.

Shared resources and consciousness of power relationships are among the themes of Scorpio, as is the appropriate use of sex. The Sun-Moon opposition is calling us to be highly aware of inequity in our personal relationships.

Scorpio is such a powerful power tool because people are, for the most part, totally dependent on one another for survival even though we go to great lengths to deny this.

Sun in Scorpio may illuminate awareness of a whole lot of problems, calling our attention to worlds of pain that we must acknowledge are harming us even though they are "in the past." But the Sun in Scorpio says we have the power, strength and resources to help ourselves and help others in healthy ways.



Saturn in Cancer.

Preserving the integrity of the home, setting limits within our homes, and structuring our homes as the foundation block of community are among the messages of this transit.

The last time Saturn was in Cancer, there was an enormous burst of social consciousness, collective awareness, and the feeling that "the world is all of our home." The environmental movement -- that is, not just demonstrations, but major developments in solar power and other alternative energy sources and awareness of the need for conservation -- came into awareness.

Saturn's greatest rewards come when we learn to work within limits; that's the essence of Saturn's game. We certainly do have limits to work with and that means very rich rewards if we don't ignore them.

Saturn in Cancer opposite Chiron in Capricorn is reminding us to pay attention to the ways in which the political is distinctly personal. Every law that is passed eventually finds its way to your living room and your mind.


Mars in Pisces.

On one level this process is about learning the difference between passion and aggression. There is a difference. It's also about taking on a warrior spirit on the issue of truth and lies.

There is a difference, but it's often one that induces crisis. We are witnessing a very serious crisis of integrity in our culture, and can point to many people who are telling lies.

My sense is that the far more serious issue involves the people who believe those lies. Mars in Pisces is saying believe no lies and speak only truth.

Pisces is something of the ultimate spiritual energy and Mars is the consummate warrior. Spiritual types often have a hard time with warrior energy, as if standing up for something important or obvious to you is somehow going to offend God. I

t may well have offended your parents, who were as god and goddess to you. But they are not God. It may well offend the part of your mind that wants to maintain control by perpetuating denial.

Telling the truth definitely offends unrighteous authority figures, most of whom you don't realize exist until you actually open your mouth. ++

In a dream of mine, a few days ago, I saw the Earth jump to a higher level of energy. "She", our beautiful planet Earth, appeared as a translucent, magnificent ball of Light which was falling down, at a slightly lower level, and, soon after rebounding at a higher energy level than "Her" present one. My dream was a clear message, explaining why we are now involved in a lot of urgent "duties" to be prepared for the incoming cosmic event that may coincide with the Harmonic Concordance on November 8, 2003.



At 8:13 PM (New York Time) on November 8, 2003, a geometrically perfect six sided (Star of David) configuration will appear in the sky, linking and balancing the energies of six astrological bodies: the Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Chiron and the Moon. In addition, there will be an eclipse of the full moon at this time.

The interaction of this significant planetary alignment at the moment of the eclipse combines to produce a powerful alchemical transformation offering the opportunity for both personal and planetary shifts in consciousness.

name that has been given to this particular energetic window of time is the Harmonic Concordance. It goes from November 5th through the 11th with the peak at 8:13 PM on November 8th!

The harmonic concordance is a new extra-energy of the Force all sages have spoken about, throughout history, scientists discovered, in the 70's, christened Electroweak and... "forgot".

This Force is eternal Life, which makes every body alive; It beats the rhythms of the nuclear matter, which composes any terrestrial or celestial body, the human one included.

This is not a brilliant, but vague hypothesis. The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is a diagnosis, which actually shows the effects of the Force on the nuclear matter composing the human body.

There are actually many other clues that might confirm the intelligent and living nature of the Force. According to my view, the Force is also the Cause of all the hundreds of hormones our endocrine glands produce daily, particularly in the early morning.

And hormones are what we feel as humors, attitudes, emotions, consciousness, inner truth; they compose the daily bread, which actually nourishes our human body (see my book, LUH, Man's Cosmic Game)

Thus the harmonic concordance might be the extraordinary opportunity to let humans download a "new" extra-energy that is mainly a new upgraded hormonal information.


The harmonic concordance will also coincide with an electromagnetic solar storm that will also have its peak on November 8, 2003. The Force has two sides, as scientists have shown; the former side is what all people know, the electromagnetic field, and the latter side is instead what nobody knows, the weak nuclear field which also affects the nuclear matter of any human body.

The weak side is what we humans feel as emotions, humors i.e. hormones, in my view; if we realized it, we might also explain astrology, from a scientific point of view, as I described in my books.



The Force is also suggesting what we humans truly are: immortal cosmic citizens who are in this world, but are not from this world; It is showing that this world is a matrix, just one of the many possible ones.

The true "power" of this absurd world is its official "knowledge", which pretends to ignore the Force... Not by chance. The Force is going to make any power collapse; It is the creative and soft inner power every body can use for her/himself and for contributing to the transit towards the New World, gifted with true justice, individual freedom and collective harmony.



The Earth is an alternate Terra; "She", that is our beautiful planet, is entering a new galactic Season. Cosmic Spring is beginning, and Cosmic Winter, which has lasted 13 thousand years, i.e. the entire human history, is finishing (see my book Giordano Bruno's Future Science).

The Force is revealing Its Cosmic Intelligence to humans, who are imbedded in this dual, tragic matrix and still believe its cultural, social, political and economical system.

The next harmonic concordance might produce earthquakes, according to a few; it will mainly produce a brainstorm, which reawakens many humans from their millenary hypnosis, according to me.



It will be a systemquake or a "knowledgequake". However we should be aware that the system is not our "enemy". We, ourselves, are the system as long as we believe in its values and/or behave as if its values were valid.

Thanks to the harmonic concordance, humans might finally make all the cultural and political barriers vanish, realize that the Force is everywhere and within every body.

Looking at the experimental data, the Force is the greatest Resource, much greater Energy than all the industrial needs of the entire planet. No limits exist, even energetic ones. Looking within, we might also learn how to use the Force, which cannot be exploited, sold or bought.

We can only love the Force, so meaning, that we can love ourselves and respect our inner truth, at last.

THE DAWN OF UTOPIA
We are at the dawn of a New World.



We are catching a glimpse of a new way of being and feeling life, oneness, need for justice, truth and the well being of everyone. The organic consciousness is like a cosmic Sun emerging within and growing day by day within the young and the not-so-young, men and women gifted with intellectual integrity, sincere and authentic interest in a world capable of respect and friendship.


A new world is being born, full of prosperity, abundance, willing to do away with the squandering of human and natural resources caused by hatred, lack of understanding and divisions among men. There are multiple signs indicating the approach of a turning point in history and they are mostly inner signs..

A great many people feel that we are near the end of an age steeped in violence and outrage, and at the beginning of a new era, full of joy, well-being, prosperity and harmony, an era that will witness the disappearance of all manner of power.



Some will find it hard to believe: wars and conflicts everywhere, "democratic" governments ignoring the will of the people, economic crises, growing madness, environmental disasters; all these signs were prophesied, notably in the Gospels and the Apocalypse.

We are presently experiencing the revelation of the organic oneness of infinite universes, all alive and endowed with intelligent observers. These are invisible universes, but they are anyway present and connected with the small visible portion we have been seeing up to now.

It sounds like science fiction, doesn't it? Yet, it is not. It is what we are living and science might explain if it gave its discoveries simple, human and meaningful names. The greatest discovery of the XX century has been forgotten, hidden under a false name; it concerns the Force, already known by the great poets.

The Force is "the love that moves the sun and the other stars" by Dante Alighieri, "the unique Force, Love, which unites infinite worlds and makes them alive" by Giordano Bruno.


The Force reveals the organic oneness of infinite universes, the true essence of Nature, that magic the sage has always felt and the poet always sung. It is cosmic Life, the Intelligent Force which provides the beat, rhythm, form and functions to every body and bestows upon Man a special role: that of the protagonist and co-author of his reality, both individually and socially.


Today the "veil of illusion", the millenary deception at the base of all human history, is fading: it is the dark side of the Force, i.e. electromagnetic light, which is only reflected by luminous matter. And, as satellite data now show, luminous matter is just a tiny portion (no more than 5%) of all existing mass.

This tiny portion has instead been mistaken for the totality. Humans ignore that electromagnetic light is like a dim candle that just illuminates a tiny portion of every body and leaves the rest in the dark; it is the tiny portion we call the " world ".


A New World is not only possible, urgent and necessary; the New World already exists. Infinite parallel worlds do exist. Man cannot see them with his eyes and scientific instruments, since they do not interact with electromagnetic light; yet he can feel, imagine, even plan and create them. Today the true Light, which illuminates everything, is revealing Itself; It is the Force every human being can feel as love, consciousness and organic unity with the entire cosmic, living Nature.

There is actually a growing awareness that goodness is either for everyone or for no one. The mechanistic paradigm, which tears the world apart, is declining, and an organic paradigm, which is peace, joy, harmony and the well being of all, is arising.

A new culture is emerging, the true one which conjugates itself with the verb "to be" and not with the verb "to have". The new organic culture will be the fabric of a just and wise society, rich in freedom and respect. This is the dawn of a new world, capable of recognizing and satisfying individuals' real needs, solving the many social problems in a simple fashion and such as to guarantee the prosperity, well-being, joy and dignity of everyone, as well as, obviously, justice and social harmony.

And the dawn can arise only after the decline of the Old World.

Today we are going through a phase transition; the labor of childbirth expected for millennia. We are right in the middle of the road between the Old World and the new one, a journey in time the living Earth is completing and, with Her, all of us who long for justice and freedom.

Today we are in the birth canal; we are coming out of the uterus, that is, we are leaving behind the illusory horizon of electromagnetic light. We are moving towards an exceptional event which is the new genesis, the advent of an evolved human species, conscious of unity and, therefore, such as to perceive and make real the new world; an event announced and predicted in many prophecies throughout history... Is the universe a mechanism or an organism?

The question is not rhetoric. To a conception of the universe corresponds a conception of Man and society. However, what universe are we speaking of? The universe we observe is only an image, actually, a set of images, transmitted by electromagnetic light which "illuminates" only a tiny portion of the vast Universe...

Scientists describe it as a mechanism, filled with tremendous energy, shaken by violent, sudden explosions, including all the terrestrial and celestial bodies, but excluding love, emotions, intelligence, dreams... So they are excluding the light side of the Force, the so called "weak" nuclear force that is not at all weak.

The visible universe is not isolated... There is one force, which links the visible level with all the invisible ones: it is the light, "weak" side of the Electroweak Force that is cosmic Intelligent Life... The revelation of Cosmic Organic Intelligence is a cultural revolution without precedent in history; not a "mystery", but a Force of nature, an Intelligent Force that physics has discovered and... continues to ignore.

The Force is Life, the "weak" Light, the unique, true Light that illuminates everything. On the other hand, electromagnetic light is but Its shadow.... Electromagnetic light is the deceit which separates the visible and the invisible, what we see and what we feel, on the basis of the mechanistic paradigm men adopted without proof, so reinforcing their same deceit. Whatever is rational and/or "scientific" is glorified, whereas everyone's intimate bond with the weak Light, that is Cosmic Intelligence, is denied.

Where does intelligence come from? From Man or from the universal forces? Science cannot separate a body from the cosmic forces, which penetrate it; therefore, it cannot tell whether intelligence comes from Man or from the forces...

The revelation of the cosmic Organic Intelligence is an inner and peaceful revolution, both individually and culturally; and it will become, before long, a social and political revolution for the benefit of everyone, none excluded... The political system, on the other hand, is isolated, separate from cosmic Intelligence; armies, heavy and pharmaceutical industries are its "prime motor"; oil and finance are the fuels that make this "motor" work. Yet there is another "fuel" it absolutely needs: humans' false belief that this world is the only possible one. We cannot win the system, but we can all make its power vanish if we finally act as a great master, Jesus Christ, has actually taught us. We just need to be "cunning like a snake and innocent like a dove"...

The Last 2003 Mercury Retrograde



For the last time in 2003, Mercury will go retrograde on Wednesday December 17 at 11:02 AM EST at 12 degrees 31 minutes of Capricorn. It goes direct on Tuesday January 6, 2004 at 8:55 AM at 26 degrees 17 minutes of Sagittarius.


The next Mercury retrograde periods are from April 6 to 30, 2004, August 9 to September 2, 2004 and November 30 to December 20, 2004.

Total Lunar Eclipse, November 8

On November 8, 2003, two major astrological events take place. The first is a total lunar eclipse occurring at 8:20 PM EST in the eastern hemisphere. Lunar and Solar eclipses happen twice a year and this lunar eclipse takes place when the Sun is at 16 degrees 13 minutes of Scorpio and the Moon at 16 degrees 13 minutes of Taurus. Two weeks later, there is a partial Solar Eclipse on November 22, 2003 at 10:50 PM EST at One degree 14 minutes of Sagittarius.

A lunar eclipse takes place when the Earth is exactly positioned to cut off the Sun's light from the Moon depriving it of illumination. Lunar eclipses always occur when the Sun and Moon are in opposite sides of the zodiac at the Full Moon. Solar eclipses take place at New Moons when the Sun and Moon are in the same zodiacal sign. They take place when the Moon stands between the Sun and Earth cutting from our vision the Sun and its light.

The effect of eclipses can come on suddenly acting in a lightening like manner. The influence of solar ones can begin up to a year before they actually take place and the lunar six months. A situation can begin to develop that will crest on or close to the actual date of the eclipse. For example one year before an eclipse you might start thinking of changing residences and close to the date if not on the actual date of the eclipse you put your home on the market or move to a different one. Eclipses are like the siren of a fire engine off in the distance getting closer and closer passing right in front of your house on the actual date of the eclipse. There is a two-week period between eclipses, which can be unstable, changeable and frequently exciting. It is like having a brass band in your living room - which might be more music than you would be comfortable with.

Harmonic Concordance and Chiron

At the same time as the lunar eclipse, a special astrological configuration will take place referred to as the Harmonic Concordance whereby the planets in the sky interact with each other to form a Star of David. This unique astrological pattern has occurred before but rarely at the same time as an eclipse. It is a model of harmony and flow. There is stress in that there are planetary oppositions; but each planet involved also has harmonious aspects indicating a way out of difficulties. Within this configuration are two grand trines ...the most flowing aspects in astrology. They indicate ease, rewards, talents, and genuine good fortune. The Star of David is a grand sextile, where each planet forms 60 degree or sextile aspects to another on either side of it. The sextile is an aspect of opportunity, which is the keyword for the concordance. By pushing for ones' goals, some opposition might be encountered but if one is centered (Sun), emotionally balanced and secure (Moon), takes right action and is courageous (Mars), seizes the opportunity around them (Jupiter), is responsible (Saturn) and deals with their inherent wounds (Chiron), they will succeed in their endeavors and possibly have a major life altering experience. Chiron is also a teacher as well as a healer. Insight and awareness come along with the release of those patterns that cause pain and suffering.

Before 1977, this alignment would not have been viewed as a Star of David. In 1977, Chiron was discovered and depending upon which astronomer you speak to is a planetoid, asteroid or comet. Over the years, Chiron's influence has proven to be particularly potent in human life, almost as forceful as one of the planets.

Located between Saturn (the last planet discovered that rules worldly life) and Uranus (the first planet that goes beyond mundane consciousness), Chiron acts as a bridge between the two.

Referred to as the wounded healer, Chiron has domain over the natural and alternative healing options that have flourished since its discovery. Chiropractic and Chiron share the first five letters of its name.

By acting as the teacher as well as the healer, the discovery of Chiron has correlated with individuals' increased awareness of their body and health. With traditional western medicine unable to resolve many health problems, people have turned to such alternative treatments as homeopathy, naturopathy, acupuncture, acupressure, massage, psychic healing as well as chiropractic and found them to be extremely effective.

Along with alternative treatment of their physical body or wounds, they have released blocks and cleared their energy fields finding additional benefits of greater mental well-being and awareness.

Many individuals now combine both the traditional and alternative in treating their medical conditions.

The planets involved in the Harmonic Concordance -- Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Chiron -- are all in water and earth signs. These signs are receptive and feminine in nature dealing with issues of basic security.

The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are not included in the concordance signifying a focus on personal issues. Additionally the lunar eclipse occurs in Taurus and Scorpio signs that rule finances and financial security, what one values and stability.

Major shifts in financial markets are likely...in relationship to economic news, interest rates, banks and financial institutions, taxes and government policies.
