Powerful Chakra attunement
So, we are aware of what the chakras do and that they are energy vortices, spinning wheels absorbing and transmuting the energies of our environment and ourselves. But what is their ultimate goal? Where are they leading us? Where do we go once our chakra system is cleansed and healthy?
It is very difficult to find this information on the chakras, the keys to the doors of other dimensions/states of consciousness. Spiritual Awakening is only possible when our entire system is purified and in balance. So, therefore we need to purify all our bodies to achieve this - Physical, ethereal, astral and mental - so that whatever energy is meant to flow through us (cosmic, spiritual energy) can do so freely.
The chakra meditation purifies and balances our ethereal body, but it also has a positive effect on our other bodies, too. It encourages us to purify our entire system, showing that without this 'wholeness' enlightenment is not possible.
Bringing the awareness to the Breath and Body
Start by sitting comfortably in a chair, with loose clothing, bare feet flat on the floor or bring the legs into padmasana, if possible (left heel opposite groin, right foot on left thigh).
Depending on how many chakras you wish to focus on in one sitting, this can be quite a lengthy practise but i would recommend 20-30 mins to start. If you are new to meditation, i would recommend that you just start with the mindfulness of breath and body for however long you can manage (5-10 mins, for example) and once your endurance and concentration has strengthened, you can start adding the chakra meditation.
Now bring your mind to your breath.
Say to yourself as you breathe from the diaphragm "Mindful of the breath i breathe in", "Mindful of the breath i breathe out" as you breathe in and out, focussing your attention on the coming and going of the breath.
Continue with this for a minute or so, then continue by bringing your attention to your body by repeating to yourself "Mindful of the body i breathe in", "Mindful of the body i breathe out", and noticing where the body is tense as you do so.
Simply noticing it, not trying to force it or expect it to relax, "Just noticing the tensions". Become gently aware of the body's sensations as you do so.
If the body wishes to correct itself in posture, allow it to do so, but do not allow it to 'jerk' - keep it smooth and slow. Generally the neck should be kept erect.
Now comes an extremely important part of meditation that is often neglected - Mental Instruction.
DIRECTING THE MIND USING AFFIRMATIONS
Before you begin the meditation itself, you need to use your mind to affirm some important things and to enable you to complete the meditation.
When i practise i usually begin by verbally affirming things such as "Drop all issues, concerns and work until after the meditation", "I will now practise for at least an hour", and "If my mind becomes distracted, i will gently but firmly bring it back to the point of focus, as many times as needed" etc, etc.
These are some examples, and they generally stay the same through most practises - and they work! But don't overdo them, though. Sometimes i don't need them and i go straight into the practise, but at other times my mind is too scattered and distracted and it needs the instruction. So, for the majority of the time, i use them.
I usually say about 10 affirmations once only, and this usually does the trick. Because this essential warm-up period can take 10-15 minutes in itself, i feel that it is necessary to work up to a longer practise of 30 minutes or over, otherwise i do not feel that it will be strong enough to yield good results (but if you feel otherwise through your own experience, please let me know!). And on to the Chakra meditation.
BASE (ROOT) CHAKRA
I recommend that you start with the base chakra and work upwards.
Focus on this area of your body in your mind between your anus and your genitals - 'feel' it's position here, and when ready, switch on the light at this centre.
See this chakra as red if you can, but if another colour predominates, then allow this for now. Just notice it's movements etc for the first few moments. Now, start to control it and visualize this light as a circular disc or sphere, upright and spinning (i begin by clearing them ccw, and then letting them run cw for the rest of the meditation).
Keep it approximately 4 inches in diameter, but definately no more than 5 inches (unless you are adamant that you must do so). Now focus solely on this visualized chakra. Concentrate.
If you can recite it's mantra, do so (which in jthis case would be LAM), but i wouldn't recommend this in the early stages as this is very difficult to sustain along with the visualization. Concentrate for however long you feel you need to, but if you are planning to work an all of the chakras in one sitting, then i wouldn't spend too long as you could be there for hours!
Try 'lubricating' all of the chakras first in this way, then you can focus solely on individual chakras once you have gotten a feel for the entire system.
SEXUAL (SACRAL) CHAKRA -
When you have finished concentrating on the base, move up to the sexual (sacrel) chakra located in between the genitals and the solar plexus. Repeat the process, visualizing this chakra as orange. Do not turn off the root, continue with the base chakras light on until all of the chakras have been worked on (on first, off last).
SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA -
Continue to the third, the yellow solar plexus chakra and repeat the process here.
HEART CHAKRA -
Then continue to the forth, the (emerald, preferably) Green Heart chakra.
THROAT CHAKRA -
Then the fifth, the light blue (sometimes half light blue, half royal blue) throat chakra. This particular chakra may need to be resized to around 3 inches, as i have found 4 inches to be a little too large for this area.
THE THIRD EYE -
Then on to the 6th, the third eye chakra, who's colour is cobalt blue/indigo. I actually place this in the brain, halfway between the middle and the back, and i also focus, part of the time, on the third eye area itself (between the eyebrows, just above the nose).
THE CROWN CHAKRA -
The crown chakra is white, violet and gold - basically radiant spiritual light, Try this for yourself.
WARMING DOWN
When you are ready to warm down, turn off each chakra light in turn, starting with the crown chakra (i usually count down from 3 and then turn off the light). The chakra 'lights' are switched off, but the chakras themselves obviously remain functioning.
Now, the source from which i obtained the original practise stated that the session should end with a white arrow moving down through the body from the crown and out of the base to cleanse the body (or more specifically, to cleanse the sushumna, which is the central meridian from the base to the crown and most probably beyond in which the kundalini energy rises through).
But seeing as the kundalini rises to pierce the chakras, sending an arrow 'down' through the body didn't feel quite right. It just makes more sense to me to have the arrow moving upwards rather than down.
Try it and see. Visualize a white arrow, full of energy and purity, move quite quickly up from the base chakra area to the crown and out of the head flying away into the distance. Visualize it cleansing your body and the sushumna as it does so.
Finally, say a prayer to God, Cosmic energy, with love and thanks, if you so desire. This ends the meditation session. _________________ “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.” rumi

The Chakra Meditation is just one method of unblocking and releasing negative energy out of your body.
What I have found after doing the ''4 point healing'' is that the effect was profoundly advanced and did in a few minutes (with help from my guides), what this meditation did after several sessions, especially if you are unfamiliar with meditating on a regular basis.
What I also discovered was, that the meditation I use to clean and purify my etheric and astral bodies via the meridians, an extension of the chakras and carry the energy to all parts of the body(ies), there are 72,000 meridians in total, and it takes alot of sessions to achieve this task of clearing them.
Well to my surprise, the 4 point healing did it automatically, no mental directions no instructions to my higher self, just directed energy at those 4 points and this triggered off an automated healing sequence that clears, purifies, oscilates, maintains the body and sets it into healing mode, as a bonus it tuned me into higher consciousness, it ''tunes you in'' to your subtle bodies by clearing all 72,000 meridians in the system.
Now thats Amazing..... _________________ “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.” rumi

The body functions as an entity through 12 Major channels called Meridians connected to the Chakras, that distribute Qi or life force energy
Meridians or channels are pathways of energy flow. Very often pain, numbness, soreness, sensations of heat or cold, and other sensations along the course of a meridian will be an important clue to problems in that particular system. Each meridian connects to an organ.
It is through these meridians that organs receive nourishment and stay in balance (function properly). There are also 8 extra vessels that store energy and help regulate the flow of Qi in the meridians.
In addition there are gates through which the inner Qi communicates with the environment, to help regulate the body.
It is a natural law that energy flows in wavy lines like the breeze, mountain ranges and streams. On the land, Qi moves in dragon-like lines along the terrain. In people, Qi flows in the meridians.
This undulating flow is beneficial and natural and is relative to how Qi of people interacts with Qi of nature. _________________ “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.” rumi
